Villa Nakula has a large open-air living/dining area, complemented by a separate, fully equipped kitchen. A 13-metre pool with a timber deck is set within a lovely tropical garden.
A large, sliding wall panel next to the pool separates Villa Nakula from two-bedroom Villa Sadewa. Guests who book both villas can request the staff to open the wall panel to provide a joined garden area with the two swimming pools – ideal for family groups requiring four bedrooms and space for the children to have fun.
Villa Nakula is located within Saba Villa Canggu Complex. It is a cleverly designed complex of five, luxurious, self-contained villas, four with two bedrooms, one with one bedroom, and each with a private entrance, a private swimming pool, and interconnecting garden doors. Each property can therefore be linked or remain totally separate and private, presenting guests with a choice of any combination from a one-bedroom to a nine-bedroom renting option.
Furthermore, SABA Villa Canggu offers guests the choice of different levels of service, ranging from completely private, self contained living, up to the luxurious option of being fully pampered with chefs, butlers and a comprehensive menu of services.
Villa Nakula’s bedrooms both overlook the swimming pool and garden and their generous open-air ensuite bathrooms boast a rain shower and a tub. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and the second bedroom has twin beds which can conveniently be joined to create a king.
The rooms come with satellite television and DVD player, and the master has a hard drive media player (pre-loaded with a huge collection of movies and TV series)
Embrace the tropical lifestyle and enjoy the beauty of the spacious open-sided dining and lounge pavilion at Villa Nakula, which faces out to the garden and pool. This living space is decorated with unique artworks, furnished with a large comfortable sofa upholstered in a bright, summery blue, and fitted with iPod speakers (an iPod loaded with music to suit all tastes is available on request), making this the ideal spot to catch up with friends, read a book or enjoy cocktails and canapés at sunset.
The dining table accommodates eight guests and the well-equipped kitchen is discreetly located behind the dining area.
Saba’s personal chef and his two cooks are at your service to prepare complimentary daily breakfast, plus lunch and dinner choices from an extensive and competitively priced menu. Beyond regular mealtimes our butlers are able to prepare snacks, giving 24-hour room service.
Our philosophy is to provide guests with restaurant-quality food at very reasonable prices. Chef Made is internationally trained and has worked for a number of 5-star hotels around the world. Saba’s kitchen uses the freshest produce available, and with a little advance notice our chefs are more than happy to prepare special requests and special-event meals ranging from a candle-lit, poolside dinner for two to a casual barbecue or a banquet set up in the garden. Apart from individual villa kitchen facilities, there is also a professional staff kitchen on site to cater for large parties and groups.
SABA also holds one-on-one cooking classes for guests who wish to learn more about Balinese, Indonesian and Chinese cuisine.
Children at Saba
The family friendly advantages of a villa holiday are many, including access to your own private facilities and the freedom to use them whenever you want. Knowing that the kids can run around happily, independently and safely, without you having to worry about other guests, is a real plus – and one that means parents are certain to have a more relaxed holiday too.
Saba is a great villa for families, especially when booking more than one villa: with the clever sliding wall panels pulled back, children have the freedom to run safely between the properties and play in each others’ gardens and pools. A pool fence is also available, at extra charge, allowing peace of mind for parents with younger children.
The team of friendly staff at Saba will make children feel as welcome as adults, and having these willing helpers on hand gives guests plenty of flexibility and freedom to do their own exploring beyond the villa grounds (full-time babysitting incurs a small extra cost).
Although the equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals for fussy eaters or babies with ease, staff will happily do this for you – just talk through your requirements and meal schedules with the Villa Manager or Chef and they will take care of the rest. Pancakes by the pool for breakfast? Toasties for tea? No problem. The Chef can customise all meals to suit children’s taste buds.
SPA & BODY TREATMENT
Feel like a body scrub or massage? Just ask our staff to bring the spa to you! We can recommend deluxe treatments carried out in the privacy of your own villa by fully trained therapists from a reputable local spa (extra charges will apply). Here’s a sample of what’s on the menu:
Massage - Release built up tension with a traditional Balinese massage. Using a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure and aromatherapy oils to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and energy around your body, you will feel totally relaxed in no time.
Foot reflexology - Foot reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet which correspond to every part of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes tension is relieved and circulation improved leaving you feeling balanced.
Body scrub - A full body scrub will exfoliate and hydrate your skin leaving it soft and smooth. A rejuvenating scrub combines an abrasive material such as salt, coffee, rice bran or pecan hulls with essential oils to remove any impurities and make your skin glow.
Manicure/pedicure - Our hands and feet work hard for us every day but rarely get the attention they deserve. Treat them to a manicure or pedicure, which usually comes with the added bonus of a quick hand or foot massage.
